You will normally be notified of your result within 14 days via email.
There are three ways a course can be paid for.
1. Online via the website using Stripe.
2. Online via the website using Payl8tr.
3. We can invoice you or your business and then the money can be transferred using BACS.
No, all courses are to be paid in full around the time of booking, once the full payment has been received the individual will be set up on the course.
If you fail one or more units of your course and have to return outside of your course dates to re-sit the exam/exams you will have to pay a re-sit fee of £100. This fee includes revision time with one of our qualified trainers.
Once your course has been signed off by the awarding body, and they have issued your e-certificates (usually within 14 days) we will email your e-certificates to you.
You can register with the SIA now and start the application process but you will not be able to submit your application until the SIA has connected your qualification that has been uploaded by the awarding body to your registered SIA account.
If your name is spelt wrong on your certificate, please send us a copy of your passport or driving licence and we will send out a new certificate, this can take up to 14 days as we have to go back to the awarding body for this to be rectified.
Please bring 2 forms of identification such as your passport and driver’s licence as an identity check is required. Please also bring along one passport-size photo and two forms of proof of address from the last two months. The full list of acceptable documentation will be accepted will be sent to you upon completion of booking the course. On Day One at the start of the course, you will have to provide your correct ID or proof (detailed in the paperwork pack that is sent out to you via email to sign) & passport photo to the Instructor. If you do not provide the correct ID, proof, and passport photo you will be turned away and no refund will be issued
You, the operative, are responsible for obtaining a licence to work legally within the private security industry. You will be breaking the law if you work without a licence and your employer will be breaking the law if they use unlicensed staff. It is not your employer’s responsibility to get you licensed, but it is their responsibility to ensure that their security staff always have the right licence for the role they ask them to perform
The course only teaches the safest techniques and does not involve any harmful methods such as striking. The Instructors supervise the training at all times and a risk assessment is crucial for the course. You will be asked to sign a disclaimer and a health and fitness questionnaire before this module.
